Recycled paper, bio-degradable utensils and useful take-home gifts, oh my!

There are tons of websites and guidebooks out there on how to decorate your wedding. Table garlands, cute paper boards with pictures of the newlywed couple alongside cute pens to write nice things with and pristine white tablecloths to put on the tables. Well, I'm sorry to break it to you, those decorations just aren't sustainable.
And you could do way better.
But what kind of decorations are actually green?
Green decorations go way beyond just flowers and glass bottles hanging from the ceiling! Here's some cool ideas from silverware to trinkets:
🍃 Green Paper Products is a site that sells different varieties of biodegradable and compostable eco-friendly plates, utensils, straws and more for great prices.
🍃Good ol' flowers will never do you wrong. You can also add succulents and/or cacti for nice, fresh touch as centerpieces for guests to take!
🍃Recycled paper can go a long way and you can do a lot of nice decorations with it. They can be used at labels for wine bottles or make up menus, and they can be signs at any meeting.
🍃Food, as strange as it may seem, can make a cute decoration, as well. A cornucopia woven locally stuffed with fresh local products is beautiful to look at and the food will never go to waste! Your cake itself can be a decoration!
🍃Candles make a great atmosphere and add extra light to an event. Scatter candles around the venue and guests can either take, or the venue could use it for another event!
🍃Green Party Goods has great bio-degradable and eco-friendly items to use for any occasion! Especially cute things for a little one's birthday. Their products range from biodegradable balloons to metal and wooden goodie bag stuffers!
🍃Glass can be beautiful as a decoration. String some colored glass bottles around the windows of the venue to let the sun shine right through them, creating such a pretty, colorful glow.
🍃Find local places to rent or lend decorations. Some of these things are stuff that you either don't need or will never use again!
There's so many great ideas for sustainable event decorations that go beyond the basic. Use your imagination and you'll be surprised at how amazing the result is!
