The event is finally here! Are you ready? I hope so!

Anyhow, here is the ultimate checklist for your green and sustainable event, so download it to your devices and keep it on you!

Transportation 🚗

🍃Are there shuttles set up to pick up mass amounts of people from their hotel?

🍃Is there parking available for the guests?

🍃Have you promoted sustainable ways to travel to your guests, staff, etc.?

The Venue 🏘

🍃Is it LEED certified?

🍃Is the location close to the hotel, so the shuttle doesn't have to travel so far?

🍃Will the venue allow you to switch out light bulbs or hook up solar panels when needed?

🍃Does the venue fit everyone that is attending?

The Food/Menu 🍽

🍃 Is it locally sourced?

🍃 Is it Fair Trade?

🍃 Is it organic?

🍃 Are you using bio-degradable or reusable utensils?

🍃 Is it enough for all of the guests?

🍃 Are you hoping to donate any leftovers?

Energy 🌤

🍃 Are you using LED's or CFL's?

🍃 Are there solar panels set up?

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle 🌎

🍃 Are there trash bins and recycling bins wherever guests are gonna be?

🍃 Are there compost bins in the kitchens?

Extra Things 💕

🍃 Are centerpieces and/or goodie bags sensible? Will the guests be able to use them in the long run?

🍃Are there any plastic bottles in sight?

For Post-Event 😴

🍃 Are donating any leftover decor/food/flowers?
