Whoever's the Owner of the White Sedan, You Left Your Lights On.

Events take up a looooottt of light usage. There's no doubt about that. But how can we change that? Well there's a bunch of ways to do so, such as:
šChanging out the light bulbs!
-Depending on the venue, if it is possible to switch out certain light bulbs with eco-friendlier ones that take up way less energy, then do so!
-Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL's) and Light Emitting Diodes (LED's) typically use about 25%-80% less energy than traditional incandescents and can save last 3-25 times longer and range in lighting and colors
šBring out the Solar Panels!
-And again, we're mentioning the solar panels. Once you set them up real early in the morning, they'll contain enough energy to keep the party going all night!
šCan we schedule a bit earlier?
-If possible, see if the event can be held earlier, where you can use more natural light and you won't have to rely on light bulbs and fixtures.
šLEED, Please!
-Having the event at a LEED approved building automatically saves energy, because the building itself is always saving energy.
šTurn off the lights when they're not in use!
-Just turn off the lights in a room when you aren't using them...it's that simple.
It may sound crazy, an event where we have to take lights into consideration when we're trying to be sustainable; but it's possible! Where there is a will, there is a way.
