You may have heard about LEED Certified buildings...but what does that mean?

One crucial aspect to every event is: where is it going to be held? Will it be outside or inside? Will it be in a hotel or other venue? Either way, the place that you should always aim for is a LEED certified one.
LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is essentially a rating system for buildings determining how green they really are.
Becoming an LEED Certified building is a huge achievement because it shows how responsible your establishment is and your commitment to green and sustainable practices.
But Why Go LEED?
According to the United States Green Building Council, you should always go for LEED Certified buildings because:
🍃They're cost effective
🍃They provide a happier and healthier atmosphere
🍃LEED buildings use less water and energy and generate less waste than their non-LEED competitors
🍃Any building type can be LEED certified
🍃Being a LEED Certified building builds instant trust
It is just the best, most ethical choice!
